Which one RU?

What hurts me...

LETTING GO OF A PERSON YOU'VE JUST LEARNED TO LOVE

reminiscing the good times you shared together

shielding your heart to love somebody

trying to hide what you really feel

trying to hide the tears that involuntarily fall from your eyes

LOVING A PERSON TOO MUCH

giving up someone you never thought of giving up

HAVING THR RIGHT LOVE AT THE WRONG TIME

TAKING THE RISK TO FALL IN LOVE AGAIN

hiding your relationship from someone else

controlling your feelings to avoid hurting a friend

THINKING OF HIM EVERY WAKING AND SLEEPING MOMENT
KNOWING ALL THE WHILE THAT HE NEVER EVEN THINKS A SINGLE THOUGHT OF YOU...

letting go, because everytime you see the person, you only fall deeper

holding back only to find out when it's too late, you both felt the same way, but were only scared to lose each other so much that you didn't let the feelings out

FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO FALL IN LOVE WITH

FINDING THE PERFECT MAN WITH ONLY ONE PROBLEM, HE'S ALREADY ATTACHED TO SOMEONE...

seeing the one you love crying for someone else

the waiting also hurts like hell

Having to hear "... I've met someone"

Agreeing to his wish to 'just be friends'.

ASKING HIS FREEDOM BACK BECAUSE HE'D BE HAPPIER WITH HER

ASKING YOU TO 'FORGET THAT EVERYTHING HAPPENED' AND BE 'NORMAL' FRIENDS AGAIN.

hearing that you're treated as a little sister

sharing her future plans for the girl with you

BEING DENIED IN FRONT OF PEOPLE

telling you lies where he'd been when actually, he was with a 'new friend' or an 'old flame

Fighting for that one thing that would make you happy that is, holding on to a person WHO CAN NOT GUARANTEE HIS COMMITMENT.....then, you are left hanging for the moment...then he says, time will tell, but you still decided to HOPE in HIM and TRUST HIM..

PRETENDING you're OK when inside you're dying
PRETENDING to be strong.... and RECOGNIZING your weakness

Lying in bed each night, thinking of that special person you can never have...

Pretending you don't love a person whom you actually love...

Being in love..

letting go even if you really don't want to..

having no right to say you are hurting because it was your decision

Seeing the person you love hurt because of you... and not being able to help that person...

having the courage to say I LOVE YOU to the person you love and finding out afterwards that things will never be the same again when he doesn't treat you with the same closeness as before

having to face the fact that someone is capable of completely destroying the wall that you have set for yourself, leaving you weak and vulnerable

admitting that you love someone despite his imperfections finding out that the more you try to hate him, the more you end up loving him, perhaps even more than before

Realizing how stupid your mistakes was that led to your break-up

SHARING THE ONE YOU LOVE WITH SOMEBODY ELSE...

Making a promise and realizing that when the time has come for that promise to be delivered, the commitment is no longer there.

The hardest thing about love - believing it exists. After you've been hurt, learning to forgive, learning to trust and love again.

BUT THE HARDEST THING REALLY IS LEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELF. WE ALWAYS FORGET TO DO THIS. ALWAYS

Randy Santiago singing one of his songs to my friend Pauline during her last day here in Manila. The truth is, it was Gladdis' bright idea to give that paper to one of the waiters who handed it over to Randy. Well, my contribution was including Pauline's name in the tissue paper to make sure that Randy will search for her in the audience. =) It was sooo funny when Pauline had a feeling that we were up to something, as she kept on telling us "IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE"..next thing we knew Randy was reading the paper and asking, "Where's Pauline?" When he came over to our table Gladdis admitted that she just wanted to have her picture with him. After the photo sessions, Randy asked Pauline to come up to the stage so he could sing one of his songs. After 2 songs, Pauline went back to our table and promised both me and Gladdis that she'll get back at us once we get to Scotland! ;- ) We tried to get her drunk but karma caught up with us so quickly. I thought I was touring 2 British Girls as I could hear the change in the way Gladdis is speaking to Pauline! Bloody accent! Hope she remembers this night along with the Tarsiers which she called Tarquis in her postcards! =) The tricycle driver who thought I was a Korean and kept on speaking to us in English, until I opened my mouth and said, "Manong, sa Inquirer po". My friends who tried to scare her by describing Sisig as Monkey's Brain. And of course the song "Leaving on the Jetplane which I think is a favourite among the Boholanos. I made sure that she'll remember my beloved country by buying her a pack of Choknut and Flat tops, The Pinoy Big Brother Soundtrack, An OPM CD and MYMP's 2 CD Collection. I never knew I am capable of being a tourist guide, but hey! You'll never know until you try!

Some of my favourite quotes from my favourite movies....

I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

Antioxidant

thanks to my friend Joyce, for this wonderful email....

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished The carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?" "Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied. Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and! noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?" Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. he carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"
Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength? Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart? Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
